Sport eXperience update #5

It’s still summertime! It’s time to rethink and make plans for the next half year. At Sport eXperience we made some great improvements. Thanks to the international expansion our network grows around 200 entrepreneurs, investors, scientists, etc. a month. We could never thought we would make this progression when we started January 4th with our first Sport eXperience accelerator program. We transform into a global sports community nowadays where we are looking for global cooperation to increase market opportunities for innovative sports companies.

This update is filled with some great news to show how we get on:
Sport eXperience in Copenhagen
Save the date: November 3 Sport Business Day
Sport eXperience Eindhoven #3
Innovation in Sports Düsseldorf

Being in Copenhagen with Sport eXperience to accelerate six sportinnovations in a week was intense. We were very pleased everybody picked up the innovation methodology so easily. And the pitches were spot on, just as we hoped for. And the hostmanship of the Danish Institute for Sport Studies, Idrættens Analyseinstitut, was outstanding.
For Sport eXperience, the presence in Copenhagen was a milestone. As all mentors sat down together on September 1 at the Copenhagen Streetfood Market and spoke to eachother: “We’re going to talk about this week for a long time”.

Our thanks goes out to: Boblberg, Freesense Solutions, OCKYZ, Profitz, Raceone,, Talents of Tomorrow and WannaSport.

Martin Hedal, projectleader Idrættens Analyseinstitut: “Intense is a good choice of word. We have a lot to work with after SSBW – which is positive. And we discovered that Dutch and Danish humor is quite similar.”
Tony Motzfeldt, CEO SHFT: “I was impressed by your experience and way of handling the process”.

We invite you for the first Sport Business Day, November 3 in Eindhoven. Block your agenda because you can expect 40 international sport startups, 16 pitches, 8 workshops and masterclasses of world class brands and 1 grand opening.
The Sport Business Day on November 3 represents the greatest sport startups in the world. They gather in one of Europe’s leading technology regions, Brainport Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Eindhoven is a ‘company town’, unique in the region. As Philips, among others, branched out, the foundation was laid for today’s network of knowledge and smart innovation, where large companies like Philips, NXP, ASML, DAF, VDL and many SMEs form a unique ecosystem.
As StartUp we offer you a booth to explore investment opportunities, meeting future employees and discussing with future partners.

Learn and experience how Babolat, Brooks, FIFA, SFIA, Thrill Capital, Triple Double & Under Armour and more companies inspire and help you to grow as a startup. September 27 we start with our weekly sessions in Eindhoven. Discover your sport business potential.
We’ve got a few spots left to (re)discover your business opportunities, design your value and make your company grow. Participants in this edition get a free booth and pitchslot at the Sport Business Day on November 3.

We recently signed a contract with the Innovation in Sports conference in Düsseldorf, taking place October 4-5. We offer a pavilion for sport startups to exhibit their innovation for the attendants. As startup you will also be part of the Startup Showcase and Sessions with your own pitch. Sport eXperience kicks off this event. Besides these startup activities, Sport eXperience will actively be involved at the ‘Insights from RIO 2016’ session and will speak on ‘The role of sports federations will be acquired by startups’ in the Performance Analytics program.
If you like to visit the conference and exhibition floor, we offer free tickets for clubs, federations and associations. If you’re an industry professional, we offer you an interesting discount. Instead of € 495,-, you pay € 95,-. Use the code: “SporteXperience”.
